Our new Kia EV9 is Bold. Electric. Impossible to ignore.
Wrapped to perfection by the legends at PICHA Group, it's now a moving symbol of everything we stand for: bold leadership, real visibility, and women driving change (yes, literally).
And the best part? The creative lead behind the design was one of our own.
From Participant to Project Lead: Meet Caitlin
Caitlin first joined Empowered to Lead as a participant in Play Like a Girl’s signature leadership program. Fast-forward to today, and she’s leading the team at PICHA Group, a company known for elevating brands through custom solutions across Australia.
When it came time for our car to get a fresh look, it wasn’t just a design project, it became a full-circle moment.
“I was really excited to get my hands dirty with this project,” Caitlin shares. “Having been through the program, I knew what Play Like a Girl stands for, and I wanted the design to reflect that strength, energy, and purpose.”
More Than Just a Wrap
With Caitlin at the helm, the team at PICHA Group brought the concept to life, handling every stage from design to installation with care and creativity.
“This was more than a branding job,” Caitlin explains. “It was personal. I’m so passionate about what the program means, so I wanted to create something that felt bold, vibrant, and unapologetically female. Something that commands attention and starts conversations. I wanted to play my part in getting the message of ‘Play Like a Girl’ out there!”
This wasn’t just meaningful for Caitlin, it was a proud moment for PICHA too.
“Having Caitlin lead the creative direction was a no-brainer,” says Dan, CEO of PICHA Group. “She’s been leading the way here, and there’s no doubt her time in the Empowered to Lead program has played a role in her growth and confidence as a leader within the business.”
Why It Matters
Play Like a Girl is all about visibility, not just for women in sport, but for the leaders, creatives, and changemakers rising across every industry.
Our vehicle is more than just transport. It’s a rolling billboard for empowerment, helping us reach communities, attend events, and show up boldly wherever we go.
“Partnering with Play Like a Girl just makes sense. It’s more than a project, it’s a shared mission,” Dan adds. “We believe in the power of bold branding to spark conversations and drive change, and this collaboration is a perfect reflection of that.”
The Power of Partnership
We couldn’t have done this without our partners, especially the team at PICHA.
“Dan and the team at PICHA Group have been incredible supporters of ours,” says Holly Bailey, Founder of Play Like a Girl. “They’re true partners, bringing our brand to life through vehicle wraps, signage, and activations that help us show up with impact. Beyond the visuals, they’ve shown unwavering support for women, sport, and community. It’s been amazing to watch PICHA go from strength to strength, and we’re proud to be growing alongside them.”
